General Help
Tree Panel
-
The tree connects various nodes from data nodes to visualization nodes. First
ones represent data read from file. Note they appears in bold font. They
are not editable, but can be visualized through the second type of nodes, which
can be appended to them. Those last are editable via the bottom parameters
panel, movable and removable.
-
The tree root represents the mesh itself. It can be a 2D mesh or a 3D mesh.
-
Then, children data nodes can represent scalar fields or vector fields.
-
Visualization nodes availability depends on mesh and field types. You can set
them via the context menu that will pop up while you right-click on a node. You
can also remove those nodes in the same way.
-
Some short-cuts :
-
Use the "Suppr" key to quickly remove a visualization node.
-
To change the data field viewed through a given visualization node,
just drag and drop it on the wanted data node.

Delete : Remove the selected node

Hide/Show : Display or not the selected node in the render area
-
Set [un]pickable : Making a node unpickable prevents it from catching mouse
events in the render area. Useful when you want to click a hidden dragger.

Node Parameters Panel
-
This panel displays visualization parameters corresponding to the selected node
in the tree panel.
-
Whichever node it is, you can always find the following buttons in the right
top of the node panel :
