Mesh 3D Vector Field Help

Representation of vectors on a grid of a cross section.

Available parameters

• Grid Spacing : GridSpacing is relating to the number of points on the grid : the smaller gridSpacing is, the greater the number of points is. It may be time consuming to use this visualisation depending on the value of the gridSpacing.
• Vectors Lenght : arrow length factor.

The cross-section plane can be dragged.

• Visible : Display or not the plane dragger.
• Orientation : Choose the main axis of the plane.
• Reset Size : Since dragger size can be directly modified while manipulating the dragger, it can be useful to reset this in one click.

Some vector field values can be filtered by length.

• Status : Choose filter to apply. Possible Values are :
  • None : no filter is applied.
  • Too small : smallest vectors are not displayed.
  • Too long : longest vectors are not displayed.
  • Too small or long : neither smallest, nor longest vectors are displayed.
• Min Length : minimal length to use with "Too small" vectors filter.
• Max Length : maximal length tu use with "Too long" vectors filter.
