Mesh Probe Help
Probing in a mesh.
Information about the position of the probe are displayed in the left top of the
render area, ie the cell index in the mesh and its value.
Available parameters
The following parameters affect the probe dragger. Use this to move the probe
position.
-
Visible : Display or not the probe dragger.
-
Orientation : Choose the main axis of the probe dragger.
-
Reset Size : Since dragger size can be directly modified while manipulating the
dragger, it can be useful to reset this in one click.
Probe position can be set by two ways.
-
Mouse's motion : probe is done at mouse position on the dragger plane.
-
Dragger's motion : probe is done at dragger position.
The probed cell can also be highlighted on the mesh representation.
-
Cell facets : Draw the probed cell surface.
-
Cell edges : Highlight the probed cell edges.
-
Cells indices : Display the index of the probed cell and those of its
neighbours.
-
Offset : Controls the distance between those indices labels. Note that labels
are hidden if the gap is insufficient.
